Mourvedre, also known in Catalunya, Spain as Monastrell has been used for making wine since well before the 500 BC. This hardy grape loves hot growing temperatures and is well suited to grow in Southern California.
You’ll be greeted by aromas of rich Tobacco and Chocolate Covered Cherries. Your first sip is full of Baking Spices like Clover and Cinnamon, along with a long subtle finish with hints of Smokey Oak.
