The 2016 Middle Ridge Tempranillo has a beautiful ruby red color with a polished appearance. You’ll find traditional aromas of red currants, Asian plum, dried flowers and a hint of tobacco. You’ll find these same flavors as well along with smooth tannins and a medium long finish. Since this grape is of Spanish origin, pair it with your favorite tapas like sizzling garlic shrimp, or garlic fried bread and chorizo, or a seafood and sausage paella. This wine will also be fantastic with just about any Italian dish with a red rauce and/or meat.
